Nardoo plant from Cooper's Creek

A dried specimen of nardoo from the Cooper's Creek area.  Nardoo souvenirs from this site were highly sought after as mementoes of the expedition.  The small 'buds' at the base of the stem are the sporocarps: these were harvested and ground to make a kind of flour.
