Map of the expedition route
The maps which Wills made on the expedition were brought back to Melbourne in 1861 and used to make a composite map of the route between Cooper's Creek and the Gulf of Carpentaria.
PROV also holds documentary material such as correspondence with the Chief Secretary about the financing of the expedition, contracts for the purchase of camels, and the log of the government ship Victoria, sent to look for the explorers in Northern Queensland.
See PROV's website about their Burke and Wills holdings.
