Archive of the Plant Camp

The State Library is in the process of acquiring an outstandingly generous donation by Dr. Ray Holmes who, with members of his family, searched over many years to find equipment abandoned by the explorers at their so-called 'Plant Camp'.  Dr. Holmes discovered numerous metal objects and an intact glass spirit level, used by Wills for making his navigational observations.
